Molly Miller has been working for the past three years at Advance Physical Therapy, a Postural Restoration Certified outpatient clinic, located in Chapel Hill, NC. She received her Doctor of Physical Therapy from UNC Chapel Hill in 2017 and has lived in Chapel Hill since elementary school.
In 2018, she attended a nine-day course in Wisconsin to complete the basic Schroth scoliosis training from the Schroth Barcelona Institute. She submitted a successful case study showcasing her use of the Schroth method for treatment of a young teenage with scoliosis whose curve decreased and was accepted to return for Advanced training. In 2019, she was certified in the Advanced level of Schroth-based treatment and enjoys treating patients young and old with curvature of the spine.
Molly joined STRATER Scoliosis Institute as an assistant in 2019 and has contributed her knowledge and experience to the team for development of courses. She serves as a lab assistant assisting participants with performing tests properly, answering questions, and receiving feedback.
Molly completed her Postural Restoration Certification in December, 2020 from the Postural Restoration Institute and is passionate about continuing to learn to better help her patients. Molly has a specific interest in adapting yoga practices to be accessible for all patients, including modifications for those with scoliosis. In her free time, she enjoys going hiking, traveling, playing disc golf, and spending time with her family.
